The Phase 2 builds on the on the range of Phase 1 styling parts, and focuses on improving and maintaining performance. Phase 2 of Mountune’s upgrades for the Ford Focus RS includes a charge pipe upgrade kit with reduced air-pressure drop ($499) and optimized intercooler to lower intake air temperatures ($999) together with chassis and transmission upgrades. There’s also re-circ valve ($169) made from solid aluminum to withstand greater temperatures as well as the Mountune-developed high-flow induction kit ($499). As with the Phase 1, the tuner extensively tested all the parts at the Nurburgring, as well as on the dyno and road with the help of several development vehicles to ensure perfect fitment, function and reliability. The Ford Focus RS Mountune will eventually gain a full Phase 3 Mountune Performance upgrade kit, which will be revealed soon, along with exact details and prices.
