Jay Leno has introduced his unique and remarkable Ford Shogun, a modified version of the FestivaJay Leno's Ford Festiva Shogun-01
The famous comedian and car enthusiast owns one of only seven Shoguns. Those crazy hot hatches were built in the early ‘ 90s by the engineers Chuck Beck and Nick Titus, which back then they were as expensive as a Porsche 911 or a new Corvette. The two engineers took a Ford Festiva and mounted a Yamaha-built 3.0-liter V6 engine from a Taurus SHO in a mid-rear position.

Jay Leno's Ford Festiva Shogun-02 The unit delivers 220 hp and 200 lb-ft (271 Nm), while this 2,190 pounds (993-kg) car sprints to 60 mph in 5 seconds, 1/4 mile in 12.9 seconds at a speed of 100.9 Mph (162 km/h), which is quite quick for the early ’90s.
