The 2017 Polo R WRC will deliver about 380 hp (280 kW), which is roughly 60 hp (45 kW) more than the current model (318 hp/235 kW). Besides the higher power output, the 2017 Polo R WRC will be a 50 millimeters wider, the weight will be reduced from 1,200 to 1,175 kilograms and will have a minimum length of 3,900 millimeters (153.5 inches). Other key highlights include electronic centre differential, which now can be used for the power transmission, a broader front spoiler and a larger rear wing.
