The New York Concept serves as an indication for the production model, which likely to be called G70. Designed to express the Genesis modern view of luxury, the New York Concept features a sleek design with an aggressive front end combined with modern technology. The front of the car features a prominent upright grille, sleek horizontal headlights and pronounced fenders. The rear is distinguished by a low and sleek rear deck as well as a slim and elongated tail lights. The interior of the New York Concept looks futuristic and features a 21-inch floating, curved screen that incorporates driver instruments and multimedia functions. There’s also four individually sculpted single seats, polished aluminum switchgear and sliced suede leather used on the headrest. Power is provided by a 2.0-liter four-cylinder GDi engine and an electric motor. Coupled with an 8-speed automatic transmission, the hybrid concept generates 245 and 260 pound-feet of torque. It’s still unknown when the Genesis G70 will be launched, but one thing is for sure, the Audi A4, BMW 3-Series, Cadillac CTS, Mercedes-Benz C-Class and Jaguar XE will get a strong rival.
