The tuner spent more than $25,000 USD on upgrades to achieve this piece of art, including a glimmering new silver-metallic aesthetic. The car also gets a 427 ci Ford Performance with a Procharger F1-R to give it more than 800 hp. The Tremec Manual Transmission transmits engine power to the wheels, while a big six-piston Wilwood brakes make sure a driver can control so much power. Other highlights include authentic Shelby Performance parts, such as race inspired suspension, rack and pinion steering, Shelby sequential tail lights, Be Cool aluminum radiator, Carroll Shelby G.T.500CR Emblems and dual 2.5″ Exhaust in Eleanor-style, among ohters. It rides on Shelby 427 wheels 17X8 (front and rear) shod with High performance z rated Goodyear tires 245/40/17 (front and rear). The interior largely stays faithful to the original GT500, but has been equipped with some modern technology, including Pioneer CD player, Polk Audio coaxial speakers, woodgrain aluminum steering wheel. There’s also a five-point seat belts, Deluxe 1967 dash and trim, Shelby signature seat, Shelby Signature gauges and Carroll Shelby’s signature on the dash. Besides the Grey with Black stripes, CR offers four additional colors: Blue with White stripes, Red with White stripes and Yellow with White stripes. Every Shelby GT500CR will be hand assembled out of the finest parts available at the Classic Recreations facility in Oklahoma and will leave the shop with an official Shelby serial number. Since the Classic Recreations is licensed by Shelby to build the new GT500CR, the gorgeous will be added to the official Shelby Worldwide Registry. The pricing starts at $119,000.
