badboyV6 4
Got my VR back!!!, ive been a very lucky boy- not only was the chain tensioner bolt completely fooked allowing the chain to skip over the cam sprockets if it wanted (which very luckily it didnt) but also the rear diff was very nearly completely out of fluid, so all done now, and also had the inlet manifold polished while it was there- be rude not too really.... 8o8oHad the bottom strut brace removed cos it was rubbing against the transfer box, had all the fluids changed, and a CV gaitor, and a few other bits.... total bill including the polished inlet manifold- 380 quid. :-)VR now runs beatifully and the noise is awesome!!!!!! For some reason it sounds different to my 2.8 but that might be down to the exhaust......If anyones wants to know of a good garage to take their VR in gloucestershire - pm me......Very happy indeed..... :-)
