mcwillcl 0 Posted May 23, 2005 Report Share Posted May 23, 2005 Hello one & All i am trying to get the drivers side door trim out so i can sort the broken arm rest bit but i can not seem to get it out i have removed all the screws the speaker and still it seems to be some think holding it in and its doing my head in now!! its a 1997 golf VR6 so any suggestion/tips would be great %-6 Link to post Share on other sites

antera309 3 Posted May 24, 2005 Report Share Posted May 24, 2005 I find the come off better if you unclip the bottom first. The top edge locates in the inner window guide and can be very hard to pull out, especially if the door card hasn't been removed before.On a Mk3 with electric mirrors, the only screws are the two main ones underneath the grab handle cover.
