GordonC 20
So just looking for a bit of advice guys, I need to weld a lambda boss into my stainless manifold as its running really rich without it and sooting up the plugs. So I was going to weld it in where one of the three pipes join so it would get a reading off 3 cylinders but I think it might be too near the end of the exhaust and could get a false reading. The other option is to just weld it into one of the single pipes up near the top but it would then only be reading 1 cylinder. Heres a picture of the manifold so yous have an idea. Thanks,
UnitedMotorsport 55
Right where the 2 pipes join in a V into the very last single pipe.
GordonC 20
Will that not be too close to the open air and give it a false reading ?
UnitedMotorsport 55
When the engine is running, there will be no fresh air there.
