Marneus 78
Hi all,I've just been looking round my car, 1st proper inspection since I bought it & I've found the passenger sunroof drain hole has been siliconed up. I spoke to the previous owner & he says the pipe that connects to the top has come off or snapped so he sealed it up......How big of a job is it to replace this pipe as I think water us getting into the car
Lukey. 381
You have to take the pillar trims off and drop the headliner down, its not a difficult job but you have to be careful as the clips holding them on snap if you look at them, also have to be careful you don't put a crease in the headliner if only dropping one side. Marneus 78
Thanks mate, doesn't sound too bad of a job. Just need to get some time to do it now before the bad weather arrives
Lukey. 381
The worst bit will be threading the new hose up or down the a pillar, the rest is straightforward.
Marneus 78
Yeah I can see that being a tad awkward. Do you know the correct size pipe I'll need so I can get it before I start stripping the car?
