daveyboy 897
We'll the time has come to replace my clutch and I don't know what to go for I was going to get an Luk kit but I'm sure I read on here people were having problems with them and recommended to go for a Sachs kit. What would yous go for?
Lukey. 381
Recent opinions seemed to be Valeo, but I'm not too impressed with mine, it shudders when cold, fine when warmed up but its annoying me a lot, I wish I'd just bought a genuine kit.
daveyboy 897
Well I think Luk is the one that VW use. I'll not be getting a valeo one then lol.
Bugharris 1
I have recently put a TechniClutch into my VR6 Syncro, very happy with it overall, it was recommended by a friend of mine, John Grogan who owns and runs his own business in Slough, Volkswagen Repairs & Tuning (VRT). John is a trained VW mechanic and technician with many years experience.
daveyboy 897
I went for a Sachs clutch in the end. Just need to find the time to fit it now I'll throw my coilovers on at the same time while I've got the use of my mate's 2 post lift
Bugharris 1
Sachs is a good choice, I have a Sachs in my MK1 and would go for one of those again, the TechniClutch came recommended so thought I would give it a go! I have KW coilovers on the VR, they are fantastic, you will love the ride...
