mookie 0
Hi everyone, I have an annoying issue I'm struggling to get to the bottom of.I have a OBD1 Corrado VR6, 2.9, and in the morning when the car is stone cold the revs can drop almost to the point of it stalling. For the first few minute of driving, if I dip the clutch the revs can drop as low as 500rpm (as indicated on the clocks). It never ever stalls, and although it lingers for a moment at the lower revs, it picks up slowly and sometimes a little uncertainly, back to where it should be. As I have said, it's only when stone cold and once the car has been driven for a few minutes it's absolutely fine.In normal driving the car behaves perfectly well, no stalls or anything odd. Only, when it's stone cold.I've had it on VAGCOM and that threw up only an ABS error plus one for the speed sensor - which google tells me is normal when the car is static.I've replaced the throttle damper on the back of the throttle body without any effect, and I have changed the ISV for another known working one - again with no change. When I unplug the MAF the car stalls completely - not a guaranteed indication that it works but seems OK.Any suggestions? MY next idea was the blue temp sensor... but aside from that I'm really not sure what to do next.
mookie 0
BUMPI've now deleted the ISV damper box, the PCV valve, and tried an alternative MAF. All with no luck.VAGCOM now reports a 00533 error ... http://wiki.ross-tech.com/wiki/index.php/00533 >>>>> "Idle Speed Regulation: Adaptation Limit (Add) Exceeded"Can't find any air leaks or breaks in wires... starting to get frustrated now.
