a new boy with another miss fire

Hi I'm new to your wonderful forum and to my shame I'm asking for help straight away.

I'm really sorry but this problem is doing my head in.

Please if anyone has any info on this it would be a great help.

My golf has a miss fire it's only doing it under load and under 2000rpm.

Engine spec is this.

2.9 vr6 bottom end

263 cams

schrick inlet

abd intake & induction

milltek exhaust inc 6 branch

remap (a while ago)

What we have done so far is this.

maf (genuine)

coil pack (genuine)

leads (magnacore 8mm)

plugs (not sure what he used but they are new)

injectors (refurb)

It has no codes on vagcom.

The problem first started after a enthusiastic drive in some of the nice rain we get around here from time to time.

I also ran it low on fuel on this drive as I intended to take it to big bang the following day for a blast down the track and couldn't find any good juice (I didn't take it in the end as rain stopped play)

I've also taken the car for a drive tonight and it pulls really well above 2000rpm but under 2000rpm it bangs and bucks all over the show.

I really don't know what to do next. I called stealth tonight but they can't look at it till september and it's really doing my nut in now.

Any help would be much appreiciated
