starter button

Hi, my starter switch is on the blink and instead of tearing the column apart to replace it i would quite like to have a go at a starter button.

Anyone know if there is any type of elec push button (Not the push on push off type) like a square one that will fit in one of the dash blanks without having to cut nasty holes into the dash,or one that would fit nice anywhere else on dash without cutting?

Also can i get to the big red wire and the black/red stripe wire without pulling the column or wheel?
