I have the isv off and cleaned out. Now the flap inside it is it meant to be closed and then opens with live feed or is it always open and then closes with live feed? As mines open completely. I have just degunked the tb as well. As for air leaks the head has been rebuilt when I got the engine so new gasket there. And I have replaced all the inlet ones. It's just strange how it was running fine then I cracked the sump so I changed the sump replaced oil and now it idles high. It's not hunting either. Just stuck solid at 2-3k.

Im pretty sure it should be closed as standard. Try blocking the pipe off and see what happens? Pinch the hose and see if revs come down, in theory, if you can completely stop the flow through that, it should die down or cut out.
