murphyslaw 0
Well i am new to the world of VDUB's but a recent back injury has pushed me away from my 3.0S Capri, and into the arms of a very straight VR6.Its an AUTO! which may not be to everyone's liking but I needed a break from clutching on account of my bad back. However now that I have this little beast, seeing her sitting "STOCK" doesnt quite look right so going to be dropping her down a little and putting some nice you wheels on her. I spotted a set of Comopomotive TH-Mono's 15", but wondering if 15" will just look silly, however they are 8" wide so got to be an improvement on the standard BBS rims. I also really like the Audi TT competition alloys so might look for a set of those too. The thing to change will be the removal of the standard Air box and the fitting of a good induction kit.Well I look forward to your thoughts and ideas on this project as it progresses.Cheers
russj249 2
If you want to retain the standard look, have a look at BBS RX2's.. 16 inch, so better than standard but still look original. Can split them too so can do any colour centre you want.. I went silver/powder coat with polished lip. Here are mine..
