ashmk3 0
The car 1991 mk2 gti 8v, the engine I'm presuming 1993. All plugged in so I turned the key And heard the fuel pump prime mind you not for long, it fired up then immediately cut out. Turned the key again and it did the same, unplugged the isv, and it ran, dog rough but it ran. Then the revs slowly dropped and it cut out. Cleaned the isv and put it back in and still nothing. Unplugged the tps and it runs idle hunts but it runs, so I plugged it. Back in and it starts and then dies. I then plugged it back in and it ran fine. Idle was high but it was running. Went to start it earlier and again. Nothing. Either the fuel pump is priming then not running or tps is shot. But I have a relay that seems to have the injector wire yellow/red which goes to it then back to fuse box. But the relay doesnt click. It's. Number 72 it has red/ yellow wire, blue/red wire, solid white and then white/red wire. How is it powered and what's it for? It looks like the same coloured wires go to the isv?
