varr6pete 0 Posted January 14, 2012 Report Share Posted January 14, 2012 Has anyone experienced a non firing spark plug due to coil pack? works ok for about 4 miles then no spark from coil pack (middle plug at back of engine). Next morning fine. Have replaced leads and plugs. Coil pack is approx 18 months old, cheaper one from GSF, willing to replace, what non VW supplier do you recommend? my understanding coil should work or not work, no inbetweens... ps its a great engine that allows you to get home on 5 cylinders....
