Do you rekon we will see this in action in the next 20years? For rail applications at least? Imagine being able to travel to NYC from Portsmouth at super speed after all it is frictionless so the tunel just needs to be a vacuum and whoop 1000mph just like that....

That's pretty cool! But I strongly doubt they will tunnel to America, watched a program about a train tunnel design between England and America, and the conclusion was its too risky. Something about anchoring it and submarines hitting it!

Its only using nice simple quantum levitation ;) search for it on YouTube and there's a fair few videos on there that I think you would like.

Very interesting stuff and think this may have an appearance in a lot of things in the future, think its a pretty big advancement.

What else do you think this could be used for other than transport
