Recommended Posts

hi to every one first of all

and secondly first of all,hi to every one from North Wales UK.:wave:

just a quick question.not long ago i bought a non runner and it turned out that it has a major problem.timing chain sprocket has sheared the teeth off so i had lots of bent valves.aster an extensive work i replaced the complete head (2nd hand that needed some nev valves but less than mine) and everything bolted up not long ago started the engine everything sweat as nut idled well arround 1000 rpm for 10 seconds then tharts it,

idle went down to 575-600rpm mark, didnt sound that good either and i had the following codes

16394 - Bank 1: Camshaft A (Intake): Position Actuator Malfunction

P0010 - 35-00 - -

well the day before it says this it gave the error code P0015 first,i ve cleared that and its now back with this P0010 code that ross tech doesnt list in the dtc list.

and by the way the sparkplugs in cyl no1 and no2 are very dark.as if its overfueling.

in a way p0010 might explain irratic idle and missfire but its the P0015 that came on only once that worries me.is it the same thing with cams are not aligning propperly or just because it was idling very low so it couldnt pressurize the oil system to reach the correct spec?

thanks for any suggestion, help and info upfront.
