joeboy 1 Posted August 24, 2011 Report Share Posted August 24, 2011 Hi peeps, just changed two hoses on the oil cooler which have split, had it runnin for about ten minutes the temp hit it's norm of 90, now the fan usually kicks in when it just goes over the 90 mark, now I suspect that this is probally why the hoses split, but can some 1 shed some light on why the fan isn't kicking in. legvw 0 Posted August 24, 2011 Report Share Posted August 24, 2011 Check the fuses in the fan control module under the expansion tank, and check that you haven't knocked any wiring while you were replacing the hoses, like the plugs on the fans or thermostat housing.
