paulbin 0
The clutch in my vento vr has always been heavier than my other vr, but recently the biting point has been getting higher. Could this be the clutch on it's way out? It's not hard to change gear and it hasn't slipped yet. Any ideas
Bigjobbo 0
Replace the clutch, the friction plate may still be gripping but the pressure plate springs are known to wear prior to slipping and become stiff. Although bear in mind this puts extra strain on the slave and therefore the master cylinder. The height of the pedal may be down to one of these components.
