Vw_owner 1 Posted May 15, 2011 Report Share Posted May 15, 2011 hi, i have an obd1 corrado,the problem i think i have is my temp gauge is telling porky pies! ive replaced the two temp senders, ones yellow now black and the other i think was blue? , one does the ecu and the other does the gauge, iv hooked it up to vag com and the actual temp is roughly 10 degress hotter then what the gauge is saying, my gauge temp stays around 75-80 , but the fans should be comming on because the actual temp is hotter then the gauge, when the gauge reaches the marks the fans come on as they should but the gauge will only get there when the car is stood still, any ideas guys? it was exactly the same before i replaced those two senders, new dash clocks?
