VAG meeting @ FESTIVAL PLACE (BASINGSTOKE) 8TH MARCH 2011

Hi all,

Just a quick post to let you know that a new meeting is taking place at Festival Place (BASINGSTOKE) on the 8th March.

Festival Place have been kind enough to allow the meeting and give us level five of their car park that can hold up to 500 cars. The venue will be marshalled by me and a few friends which means NO BOY RACERS, and we won’t get moved on by the police LOL.

I have also spoken to Burger King at the venue and they will give us 10% off any purchase made on the night of the meeting. I am also speaking to other vendors when I am at the meeting so that you will have a choice of where to eat.

All are welcome, so please come along and enjoy the venue

Hi all,

To all those that came and braved the cold last night thank you. IT WAS VERY COLD ON THE TOP OPEN AIR LEVEL. The huge venue did tend to swamp the 40 odd cars that turned up. but it just goes to show how much room there is for use to use when the meeting gets more popular.

Getting to the correct level was a little confusing and I will address this by the next time you all come.
