russj249 2
Hi everyone, I've just finished making my downpipe, all I have to do now is weld the 3 bolt flange to the end and make the wastegate pipe for it.My problem is that how it fits now is almost impossible to get the pipes on, but if i turn the wastegate 180 degree's, the air pipes will catch on the downpipe. My question is that if I take the wastegate apart, can I adjust the top to have the air pipes facing any way I want?Without pictures, the only way I can descibe is that the outlet for the wastegate is 90 degree's apart from the air pipes, It'd make it much much easier if I could have them 180 degree's apart so when I turbo the wastegate round they will stick upwards instead of sidewards into downpipe. Now sure if this makes any sense! legvw 0
What w/g is it mate? I did similar to my turbosmart w/g, but they are bolted in 3 places, so you only get 120degree of movement.
russj249 2
It's a turbosmart ultragate 38 and those 3 bolts are the ones I wanted to move. And yea it would be 120 degree (just used 90 as I thought it'd be easier to describe) but anyway it'd gave me perfect clearance.

russj249 2
it's going to be taken apart in the vice at work I need to take it apart anyway to take one of the springs out as it's set at 1 bar at the moment and I only want it at 7psi.
