leigh vr6 0 Posted February 23, 2011 Report Share Posted February 23, 2011 pls help ive got a brand new battery on my car and it went flat changed the alternator and all seemd fine then it did it again so i put another alternator on and all was fine as it was charging the battery its been on the car for bout 4 days now and seems to have stoped charging the battery again as it was almost flat on all occations just be for the battery went flat car was missfireing and running realy rough wat is causing the prob any ideas. moldtaff 0 Posted February 23, 2011 Report Share Posted February 23, 2011 check all the leads to alternator i had same problem there is a lead from the starter to the alternator if it aint put on right battery light will be on dull car misfires and interior light flickers when on took 2 weeks and 2 alternators before i worked the problem out Link to post Share on other sites
