jonny english 0 Posted February 23, 2011 Report Share Posted February 23, 2011 hey guys got a problem with my speedo and rev counters when driving normal they work fine but the second you put your foot down they start jumping all over the place? also the other night as i broke for instance for a roundabout it would die and id have to restart it?? dont know if thats related but i dunno lol all i have done recently is change the thermostat, the housing and crack pipe?? problems started the same day as this work was donethanks for your help!!jon Link to post Share on other sites
legvw 0 Posted February 23, 2011 Report Share Posted February 23, 2011 You might have knocked the main plug on the engine loom. Undo it anti-clockwise and pull it off, the refit it. Check all wires both sides of the plug. There are some earths on the back of the inlet manifold, check them, and also the connections on the back of the alternator and stater motor.
