probert993 0 Posted December 11, 2010 Report Share Posted December 11, 2010 two days after fixing my drivers side regulator etc unbeliveably my passenger window is now playing up! Goes down all the way fine but on putting it back up it goes about 3 inches and gets stuck i then have to put it back down and try a couple of times then it returns, obviously motor is working because it goes down and up eventually , sometimes here slight crunchin my guess its the wire starting to jam so new reg needed , would people agree with that hope its that and not motor dyin but thinkin they just go fully not just go slow or under power etc , any help would be great guys thanks Link to post Share on other sites

Lukey. 381 Posted December 11, 2010 Report Share Posted December 11, 2010 the reel could be overlapped in the regulator, you can take the reg to bits and have a look its well easy, mine did this and when i took it to bits this was the problem, unwound the cable, gave everything a clean, put it back together straight and regreased and its just like new again, beats 80 quid or whatever for a new one Link to post Share on other sites

VR6-DUB 3 Posted December 16, 2010 Report Share Posted December 16, 2010 Yep exact same problem i had on my drivers one couple of weeks ago, the problem was my cable that reeled up got caught up and chewed up, my fix was to pick up a second hand regulator job done. Link to post Share on other sites
