VR6 Engine conversion help

I have acquired a donor car for a VR6 conversion on my Mk3 Cabrio, a 1997 Golf VR6.

The problem is, the donor car is fitted with a VW factory alarm with built-in immobiliser and there are no key fobs to deactivate it. So I can't start the engine.

Does anyone know of a way around this problem? I don't mind getting rid of the alarm if I have to.

The corrado I pulled my engine from had this alarm. But it never worried me as I only pulled the 3 white plugs from the fuse box (Engine loom). Surely you can do the same, unplug the engine loom, and then plug it into the cabrio's current fuse box..

(My 1.4 fuse box was same as the corrado vr)
