Electrical problems following OBD2 conversion - help

Recommended Posts

Recently had my car converted from OBD1 to OBD2 by Gary (GVK Motorsport).

He did the mechanical swap of the engine and wiring loom.

As I wanted the car back for a track I did yesterday there were a few electrical gremlins not sorted in time.

Problems:

1. Electric windows don't work on the main switch both sides either switch. Does work on the key though when locking/unlocking the door. Is there a wire not connected or something else.

2. The turn indicator lights on the dash don't illuminate when used or if hazards switched on.

3. MPG not working, just shows 99.9mpg

I believe the problems of 2&3 may be linked by not having a wire/s connected but which ones and where to??

Any and all help please.

Ian

I had problems with 1. And 2.

1. There's a couple of black connectors under the dash somewhere that I didn't have connected.

2. Mine was a connector not plugged into the connections on the steering collumn.

Hope this points you in a direction to go. As for the mpg thing i can't help with. Sorry
