Morning all , how much should it cost to get the top of my vr rebuilt ? I'm fed up with noisy tappets or liters witch eva one it is lol , I reckon it would prob be worth doin the chains as well as not sure when they were done if at all and the millage is nockon on for 175 000 , what other parts should I get done while it apart and it needs to be as cheap as poss lol . You would have to wear the rings in though for about 500 miles of sensible driving without booting it all the time, otherwise they will not wear in properly and you will just have to do them again!

500 miles Christ that's half a year of driven lol , I tried sensible driven thee other day and got 34.8 mph omg I've never seen that ha ha

I would do its all about money and I think the bottom end is fine toch wood lol
