Paulturnervr6 0 Posted October 10, 2010 Report Share Posted October 10, 2010 hi im wondering if anyone can help me?i recently changed the leads and plugs on my vr and cleaned out all the breather pipes and throttle bodie due to it hunting a little! since then everytime i start it it revs up to 2 thousand revs on idle and stays there.i have changed the air idle control valve cos thats what the garage said was wrong and it still does the same? if you unplug the AIC then it idles ok but runs like a sack of sh*t! tried unplugging the MAF sensor and that does nothing, checked all the air pipes for a leak but everything seems to be in order there. im seriously starting to run out of ideas so if anyone can help or suggest anything it would be much appreciated!
