legvw 0 Posted September 25, 2010 Report Share Posted September 25, 2010 Outer cv's require 'beating' off-if you put the driveshaft in a vise, then hit the hell out of the cv, and it should pop off the shaft.Inner cv's have a circlip holding the cv on, remove this then it should slide off.(both when removed from the car)You will need to do either of these to replace the boots unfortunatly!
