Adeyb 0 Posted September 8, 2010 Report Share Posted September 8, 2010 Morning all,Have any of you experienced the Bilstein-B6 dampers?I'm renewing the standard springs (which are lowered anyway) and wondered whether to go for standard OEM VW Gas dampers or the Bilsteins.Opinions gratefully appreciated.Plus...which polybushes are the key ones to replace suspension-wise?Cheers,Adey Link to post Share on other sites
bungy 2 Posted September 8, 2010 Report Share Posted September 8, 2010 I've fitted AP's on mine and have no idea on the Bilsteins but have had them on other cars and they were good. Because the 4mo is so heavy they do tend to go through bushes and in particular top mounts, ARB, and wishbone. Well worth considering lowering your car as it transforms the handling.
