theblueflash 0
i cleared my sunroof drain holes out the other day thinking the wet headlining between the interior light and the glass was due to them being blocked. got in my car after some heavy rain yesterday to find the lining soaked again and a puddle on my gear gaitor. ive waited for it to dry before checking the drains again. put a bit of kitchen roll where it normally gets wet and pured water into the sunroof channel. drains let water out pretty quickly and the towel is dry. decided to try the screen and pured a load of water at the top where the lining is normally wet in the small gap between the glass and the roof. paper towel and lining are now wet!!!! so ive found the holequestion is. will this be cured simply by having a new screen put in or is there another seal/part on the car in that area i'll need to replace when the screen is out? any help appreciated , with all this rain at the moment i'll prob be swimming inside the car by the end of the week!
