theblueflash 0
anybody clued up on this or have any sort of diagram/tech drawing. i need to know as ive got an m.o.t tomorrow morning and my o/s indicator (on the wing) works intermitantly and the o/s rear doesnt work at all. tried changing bulbs. they are fine. at the rear i swapped the housings for the bulbs round to see if one was faulty but they both work in the n/s. a multimeter reads fine on the n/s but virtually nothing on the o/s which im assuming is a bad earth. any help greatly appreciated or its no m.o.t for me!! legvw 0
There is an earth next to the light fitting. Also check all the connections, on the rear and side lights.
bungy 2
Run a seperate temporary earth wire to cure the problem until you've tracked down the fault.
ashmk3 0
I had a similar problem with my side lights. Everytime I switched them on my passenger side blew a fuse in the end it was moisture getting into the plug on the back of the head light. A bit of silicone sealant and all was fixed.
