baz8328 0 Posted July 14, 2010 Report Share Posted July 14, 2010 My VR6 has been of the road a while and a few things have been changed recently6 branch fitted 10mm HT leadsIts been started every other weekend .So i started my VR6 up today and found that under acceleration it pauses for a few seconds and then the rpm picks up and its ok .(BMC draws air in the pauses and the as the RPM picks up it sucks more)However it does it every time the throttle pedal is pressed .Not sure what it could be ??i have checked all HT leads are seated properly and the 6 branch is heat wrapped and fitted spot on .PLEASE HELP IM NOT SURE WHAT TO DO !! Also try disconnecting the MAF to see if it runs any different. Shame you are so far away as a look and listen usually helps loads. Link to post Share on other sites

baz8328 0 Posted July 14, 2010 Author Report Share Posted July 14, 2010 Maf seem fine as i disconnected it from the plug and it still did the same !Im thinkin of changing the lamda sensor as this looks very old plus i have a gauge for the air/fuel ratio and its stopped workin !!anyone got one for sale cheap or best place to get one ??? baz8328 0 Posted July 23, 2010 Author Report Share Posted July 23, 2010 cleaned very carefully !i have just spent an hour removing the spark plugs to check them and they were all black even tho they have been fitted about 500 miles ago. Also noticed the gap on them seem huge compared to the old ones that was removed. so i have cleaned the old ones up and re fitted them to try in the morning . At least its one more thing tried .
