T0NYVR6 2
I was goinng to replace my crank shaft sensor today but looking at where it is looks like its a pain in the backside to get to. I can see the two connectors for the crank and knock sensors but they lead to the front of the block and the sensors cant actually be seen looking from the top and theres a two pipes down below for the air con i'm guessing. What is the method for removing the sensors? Do you have to strip the whole front end of the car off to get to them?
legvw 0
Jack up the front of the car, and look up at it, you should be able to easily do the crank senser from there.
T0NYVR6 2
Got under the car to do this today but the daarn thing woudn't budge, I undid the hex bolt holding it in place but then it would only twist round it wouldn't pull out. Would it just be the 'O' ring holding it in tight or is there something else I have to do to remove it?
