Screamingblues 0
Hi All My battery died whilst on holiday so i jump started it when i got back but although it did start it has bugered the alarm a bit. When we first made a jump start connection it made a noise and i silenced it with my remote. Now it wont respond and just has a constant red light. I guess i have to reset it - does anyone have a pdf or something that can help me ? Cheers :!

badboyV6 4
Ive got a scorpion alarm-1215t2 from the manual: to try a re sync: depress bothe buttons on the remote until the light on the remote stops flashing; release bothe buttons at the same time; and the LED should glow; press either button on the remote until the LED extinguisehes and illuminates; depress again until the alarm operates. If this doesnt work ive got a disarmin procedure written here but ive got to go out for a few hours - ill post it when i get back- let me know mate...

Screamingblues 0
No luck - just had it in at VW and they recon the central control unit needs re-programming but advise against it because scorpion are not that reliable. They have quoted £395 to have a new alarm fitted and the old one removed. Anyone got any ideas cos i cant afford £395 and smell something fishy!

Screamingblues 0
Right progress! (of Sorts)I tried discharging the backup battery during lunch but when i stuck the terminal back on and the siren went off i couldnt silence it this time - tried it a few times. Rang up the guy from Scorpion (who have gone into liquidation) and he says the reset will only cost £25 plus p&p. All i have to do is send him the control unit located coveniently behind the upper passenger dash!!! Just taking off the lower section is not going to be enough... so does anyone know how to dismantle the thing or possibly just remove the one side/ upper section ?
