DreadedDev 0
Hi all,For the past couple of days, when I've driven off in the morning i've noticed a smell of petrol (admittedly with my window wound right down) which lasts for about the first half mile and then goes, it doesn't come back even when the car is parked up for a few hours at work and i go out at lunch or go home in the evening. It's parked on slope at home if that makes any difference? Anyone got any ideas'w what to check and how...
Matt W 4
Might be over fueling when the engine is cold? As normally they run rich until they reach operating temperatures.Just check everything for any leaks.
DreadedDev 0
I think it's coming from the solenoid valve.... but not sure how, i.e if the pipes split or if somehow the valve is leaking fumes... can't see any signs of actual fluid leakage anywhere.....
