Bigalvw 0 Posted May 24, 2010 Report Share Posted May 24, 2010 what are my options.started having starting problems on the key barrel so replaced the thing [sorry] at end of barrel but didnt cure the problem.it seems that the barrel dosnt want to turn enough to start it.ive looked on ebay for new barrels and keys they seem to be cheap enough.but i beleive i would have to drill the barrel in the right place to free barrel.but then theres the problem of the immobilizer.im sure vw would want a small fortune to replace it.
