anyone managed to change a heater matrix without removing the whole dash?

i remember reading a post ages ago that someone did it this way - think name was kilokilla

idea was remove all lower sections

ive attempted it this way but cant understand wt im doing wrong to get the matrix housing loose

any suggestions - if not dash is coming out (again) tomo

Um, think dash has to come out, makes life easier, but takes a bit longer. Can't see how it can be done with dash in-situ????
