blacksimus 1
Lately my battery warning light has been coming on whilst driving and staying on for about 25-30mins before it goes out again. When it warning light is on all my lights on dash literally get dim aswell as my headlights. I have checked all the wiring on the battery and alternator and all seems fine. I'm still yet to get the battery checked or run a voltmeter to see if the alternator is charging.Any ideas guys?
thegoth 5
sounds alternator related.is there any thing in common when the light comes on, like being in slow traffic, or goes off such as hitting a motorway?
blacksimus 1
This is gonna sound weird. 2days ago i went to heathrow and as soon as I hit the motorway it came on. I then hit traffic and it went off. MAde it to heathrow without it coming on again. As soon as I left the airport and got back on the M25, it came back on again and stayed on till I got home. Pulled up onto the drive and it went off. Last night it got so bad that the light refused to go out and the engine was about to cut out. Pulled over for 10mins and rev'd it a few times and it still stayed on. Rev'd it one last time and it went off. drove down the road for about a mile and it came on again. and all my dash and headlights just dim'd.
