swayv6 0
Wondered if someone might know why my VR6 will not start with new GIAC (GARRET) chip in it.Right code sent, right installation, battery negative removed at all times till fire up. Worked off rubber mats to avoid static.Left ignition on (no start) for ages prior to start up. Had professional solder in the chip holder (99% sure he did it right).Heard little whirring noises coming from engine, seemed to be communicating. Ignition light comes on.But engine will not fire.Have checked fuses and all OK.Have checked alarm and spark/fuel pump not immobilised.Put old chip back in and still did not start.Car is 1997 model.Any thoughts? &| Cheers. chrisgbrindley 0
I blew up two ECU's when I swapped my engine, it was wanted to start just no spark. Is it sparking? If not check the HT leads apart from that all signs point to blown ECU, sorry :-(
