russj249 2 Posted December 10, 2009 Report Share Posted December 10, 2009 you need to get it on VAG-COM mate.That will tell you exactly what is wrong with the ABS.Is the light on constantly on the dash? and does it come on with the ignition for a few seconds? Link to post Share on other sites

russj249 2 Posted December 13, 2009 Report Share Posted December 13, 2009 ah ok.. best thing to do is quickly replace the bulb then and try that to see if it stays on.. they are only about 50p if that.The ABS bit on dash by lights just pops out and just check the connector is plugged in. If there is a fault somebody might have just disconected it so the light's not on, or the bulb might just have blown.Not sure if the bulb needs to be working for the ABS to work. If somebody can help out with that as like the alternator charge system won't work if the light on dash has gone.Let us know how you get on Link to post Share on other sites
