egressin 0 Posted November 1, 2009 Report Share Posted November 1, 2009 i swapped out the master cylinder after my clutch pedal stopped popping back out. now a month later i have the same problem. the problem occured after i didnt drive my car for a week. i bled it again today and there was no air coming out yet the clutch pedal still just stays on the floor? any help is appreciated. spindat45 0 Posted November 1, 2009 Report Share Posted November 1, 2009 From past experience, both slave and master cylinders don't have to be leaking to cause the problem that you're having as the internal seals can fail causing the loss of pressure. Link to post Share on other sites
egressin 0 Posted November 9, 2009 Author Report Share Posted November 9, 2009 ok so ive replaced master and slave cylinder yet my clutch pedal still fails to pop up. when i pump the pedal it makes a whooshing noise in the master cylinder and doesnt build pressure so when i release the bleeder valve it just drips. do u have to have a pressure bleeder for these cars?
