Jordz 0
Hi guys and gals. I will be doing a vr6 conversion spring time next year(dont have a garage:-|) so im begining to prepare myself. I will be buying a full doner car and when reserching, a reoccuring question keeps being asked-whats the best car for a doner? Iv heard that a mk3 vr's rad is too tall and requires a lot of fabricating (and alot of swearing i imagine) to fit. If you use a 'raddo or something similar, then you need to buy a mk3 subframe etc i think??? I want to make this as simple as possible, hence the reason im buying a doner. By the way,it's a '89 gti 8v mk2 that will be receiving the treatment, which is a problem i gather as the fuse box and wiring setup is harder to manage compared to a '90s spec mk2 gti?Any help is appreiciated. Thanks and feel free to correct me,i am far from an expert.
