ajr 0
On the way to get the car tested we heard a bang and a taping/rattling noise from the left hand side of the engine. After Removing the covers we found out it was the Timing Chain, I removed the gearbox and Replaced both chains and tensions/rail, I Fitted the Cam locking plates and Lined it all up.I put the gearbox on and bolted up all the covers ect, Fitted the Top Chain Tensioner nut to keep the chain tight and the knocking stoped.i refitted all of the sensors and started her up, The knocking of the chain as stoped. But the engine is making a poping sound. Maybe "Knock" Were the plugs fires to early ??I have replaced..Coil, HT Leads,Spark Plugs i have tested the Injectors. My Works laptop saying my Crank Sensor as failed, But that shouldn't limit me to 2000RPM, It sounds like the timming is limiting me but its all lined up!.Any idea, Head rebuild??
