Major Headache !!

Hi new to the forum but not vw's been on other forums for years, Ive just brought my fist VR its fitted in my new Golf Rallye some of you have more than likely seen it around ? any way only had it about a week and its all gone wrong !! has anyone had this before or can any one help ???

Story

Brought the motor drove it for a few days then the top coolant hose blew with a gash in it just by the jubilee clip where it goes in to the rocker cover. So we took it as a weak hose shortened and re-fitted it. A day later took it for a good blast and it was ok till litterally the last corner where it blew again !!! so then we did a sniff test to test for fumes in the water and found some so thought "headgasket" So stripped it all down and replaced the headgasket thermostat and a few other bits. Started her up and every thing was fine fan came in and out fine pressure in the pipes was fine !! drove around all night fine the next day 2 minute drive down the road and it blew yet again so now thinking it must be auxillary water pump took it off stripped it and the impella was f*cked so though quick fix remove the impella fit it all back together and re fit to car so basically bypassing it again drove around for about half an hour and it was fine later that day 5 minute drive and it blew yet another hole in the pipe !!! allways seems to be the same pipe and the only thing i can now think is either a cracked block or head !!!!!!!!!!!!!! any help ???????????
