Put my vr obd2 in for a service recently and was given a list of advisorys:--offside brake hose starting to buldge-rear brakes 90% worn-near side rear brake disc badly pitted on inner edge-front brake discs worn and corroded-front brake pipes starting to corrode-near side front abs sensor missing-abs light not iluminatingApart from the brakes the garage also said that the -offside ball joint is worn-rear disc back plates are missingFor all the work here iv beeen quoted £750. It would be great if someone could tell me if this is expensive? And also,is the abs sensor a main dealer only part which costs millions? Also im thinking of fitting performance brake pipes(braded) -iv heard these last longer and also give better braking power? or would yous just stay clear of them and stick with standard? any help is much appreciated. thanks Link to post Share on other sites
