DaveyBoyRens 0
Alrite Just a few questions about fitting D90's, 1. Was gonna run with 195/40/16 anyone have any problems with this? Cars gonna be lowered 60mm all round?2. Mite have the chance to swap my 6" front wheels for the 8" back ones so giving me 8's all round. Think it'll look cracking but not sure if thats gonna cause drama :^) .Er think thats all thats keeping me awake at night rite now!Cheers
kie_dub 0
think 8s at the front will be tight mate really tight, might be easier with stretched tyres
mike 6
if teh adapters arent too wide 8's all around should be ok, also trye size sounds ok, altho some will tell you 205/45 will drive better? 195/40 will look nce and stretche don 8's tho
craggsy 91
I have 195/45 on my 16s. I have porsche 928s with 7" up front and 8" at back with same size tyre on both
DaveyBoyRens 0
hmm yeah pretty much sold on the 195/40/16 tyres, bit fustrating cos i dont have adaptors yet and it'd be good to get an idea of how it'd look with a 2" difference betwwen front and rear. Craggsy did you use the same thickness adaptor all the way round mate?. Was gonna go for 20mm all round as it seems to have worked for others. Thanks for the advice lads keep it comin ^o)
craggsy 91
yep same thickness all round. Sit flush with arch up front and inside rear arch, could bring em out a bit but prefer driving than worrying about catching
